Charles Porretta, FNP-C

Charles is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined our practice in June of 2022.

Charles obtained his Bachelor's degree in Human Biology at Michigan State University, and he completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor one year later.

 

For eight years, Charles worked as a Registered Nurse on the Neuro/Neurosurgical Stepdown Unit at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. He completed his Masters of Science in Nursing at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

Although Charles has two degrees from University of Michigan, he’s still a Michigan State fan at heart. That is where he met his wife, Gillian, after all.  Charles and his wife enjoy snowboarding, boating and camping. While they don't have children yet, Charles and Gillian have a "Whole Lotta Love" for their golden retriever named Zeppelin.
